I'm not gonna lie. I've been completely negligent of my gallery these past +4 months.

But WOW. I come back to find so many wonderful comments from so many lovely people! And a Daily Deviation on my birthday! And a cake badge! And a hoard of llamas! What a birthday present!

TBH I haven't had any time to draw this past year. Life has been incredibly busy. I graduated university last May, moved to New York City in June, and struggled with unemployment for some time before I landed in a couple different temp jobs. My first time working 9 to 5 (well, my first job at a business consulting firm had me working 15 hour days, 7 days a week!!!).

But in January I got a job offer from Japan to work in the Olympic field!! Specifically, for the Canoe Federation. I've been hired to work as an interpreter and secretary for the president of the canoe federation in Asia. So since March, I've been flying around to different countries with the federation president, interpreting for him at various meetings and sports championships. It's an exciting and absolutely rewarding job, though certainly challenging and exhausting at times. Once I learn the ropes, I'll be able to allocate more of my time to my creative projects. But as you can see, I haven't had much time on the tablet for a while.

I'll push myself to share more artwork here in the coming months!

Regarding the illustration, I got my first smart phone in March! My iPhone 5 is now my favorite toy, and I've been pretty hooked on the LINE Play Ap this past month (SO CUTE AND ADDICTIVE)! This is my avatar (GPOY) which I doodled for fun!
